WHAT IS A SCAM?

A scam is like a bait placed on a hook to catch a fish. The fish unknowingly will look at the bait as a safe food ,but it might poison. With the advent of the internet ,Scams have taken the centre stage. Criminals usually design their website beautifully with an inducement. For example they will say 'if you signup here, you will get this.' Their motive maybe different from what is written or advertise.
For example,a student who sees a website which advertises scholarship may just jump into it. Most of such sites are traps set to either get your money or have access to your emails, pins and pass words. So don't jump in to signing up or downloading such well packed apps. They might be fake and at most a bait.Imagine a fake site like http/www.patoda.online.com asking people to sign up and get $25.Most people who sign up end up narrating their negative ordeals. They are either after your passwords and emails.
Many people including myself have fallen victim to this. The site made me download a fake minesweeper which later damaged my android.
So readers beware.
